I ran my drop cloth through the drier twice to work out wrinkles.

Here is the final product of my layered rugs using the drop cloth and chalk paint diy rug project.
The size i used was a 6 9 feet i folded it in half so it is now 6 4 5 feet.
Cut a custom canvas cloth allowing a 2 inch hem on all sides.
Paint both sides of the canvas with a uniform layer of acrylic plaster to prime.
If possible leave the drop cloth rug in place overnight to give the paint time to dry.

Durable and easy to care for a hand painted floor cloth can be used like a rug for high traffic areas such as the kitchen or even the patio.
While the drop cloth is running you ll want to prep your workspace.

I started by purchasing a 4 x 15 heavy canvas drop cloth from menard s for 14 57.
